Okay all ordered from Audi.

They were roughly £10 each, which came to around £30, but with VAT it was £35 in total. So I thought ahh sod it, may as well pay it and pick them up on Friday :)

Will add pics when fitted.

However here are pics of the vents and gear surround. I'm thinking the surround is perhaps a bit "blingy", so contemplating removing it at the moment. Will give it a week or 2 incase I change my mind;

Also forgot to add my HDR pics from my shoot a month or so ago...

I know they are OTT, and that's the point. Just experimenting with my first proper shoot, so there are some mistakes here and there;

No offense, but that's perhaps one of the sillest things I've heard. It's like driving without insurance....

If they realise you've done ANYTHING you've not told them about, they have to right to null and void your insurance. Therefore you're paying your premium for no cover whatsoever. The only thing your paying for is for not getting pulled by cops....

Always worth being honest with insurance companies... they're :censored:'s!!

Depends who you are insured with tbh. Last year on my Corsa I was with Quinn and they never charged for my coilovers... This year on my FR Im with Elephant and they did :shrug:

I agree with Lawrie though, the car does look good! Just screaming out to be lowered :p

Okay, that took MUCH longer than I thought it would, but the TT pedals are now fitted!

Pics will follow tomorrow sometime, as I managed to spend 30mins undoing my old pedals, and a good hour ATTEMPTNG to fit the Audi TT ones.... They were a right BAST*RD!!!

Well just got back from work, and leaving to go babysit in 20minutes...

So looks like pics will be tomorrow!

I'm perhaps looking for any small, cheap mods like the vent switches. Anyone got any ideas? Something that won't destroy my insurance premium ;)

Buy yourself some gloss black vinyl (like this would be fine) and cover your B pillar (between the 2 windows on the side of your car) in the stuff. Makes them look lovely and glossy rather than boring matte black. Glossy is how they are as standard on posher VAG cars, Audis for instance. I remember ScottHMk4 did this mod, it's in his RR, looks awesome. On my to-do list. :)

Also, seen as you've done your pedals... you're probably wanting a matching footrest? Here. ;)

I can't remember now, have you done LED sidelights Chris? Could do those, along with Silvatec chrome indicator bulbs and side repeater bulbs.

Just thought I'd keep you busy for a bit longer. :lol:

Well, I've tried Silvatec bulbs for sidelights in the past. It was a disaster! They were not bright AT ALL, and was unable to find smoked repeaters with a proper reflective background that were good. So I gave up and went back to OEM standard...

I never tend to use my foot rest; the gap between the clutch and the side of the footwell is wayyy too small to fit my foot in :lol: Tempting though :D

I need to find some new headlights and sidelights. LED sidelights were changed back to standard a week or two ago, after one starting flickering so am back to candles :'(

Will be looking at getting HIDs, but don't know whether to get normal HIDs (around £90) or slimline ballast HIDs (Around £110). However, do I need CAN BUS wiring kit, or do the lower end Ibizas (07) not include that in the ECU?

Have you got any pics of the glossy B pillars? I've been tempted in the past, but forgot :lol:

Gutted about the Silvatec bulbs! May have just put me off them!

You don't need a CAN-BUS wiring kit for your HIDs mate. Mk5s would, us Mk4s have nowt to worry about. Just grab a normal H7R kit. Up to you about the slimline ballasts though, I don't know how big the "normal" ones are.

Tempting..... May look a bit odd as my rear windows aren't tinted!

However, I need to sort out my brakes! The drums are rusty so had a wire brush, brake cleaner and black hammerite ready to go! As well as red hammerite for the front calipers :D

I'm in need of some new sidelights, as I'm now back to OEM candles after one of my LED's started flickering.

I've heard PIAA are the best money can buy (white/white, rather than white/blue version). However they are are £20ish for 2 small lights. Are they really worth it? Has anyone got a comparison pic? :D
