Would you still have it on your PayPal/eBay records? Cheers, I want some like those :)

had a look at my ebay feedback and they were in there. these are the exact ones i have:

http://cgi.ebay.ie/WHITE-LED-FESTOO...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e5addc64f

they are 42mm. i think the proper size for the license plate bulbs is 39mm but these fit perfectly. nice and bright. give off a lovely clean light. seriously they;re like headlights for the back of the car haha. had them in the car for a good few weeks. not long but no problems so far. still shining bright.

now do me a favour and grab me a set of ibiza cupra alloys if another set come up ;) haha. i have no hope of getting any without a trip to the UK anyway and it would be an excuse for the 1.2s to get together

Also, do they light up any of the road behind the car, or simply just the plate? I've seen various members with lights that are too powerful and light up the road beneath them like some dodgy neon underlighting

You need 2 for the number plate right?

Also does anyone know if the interior light is a similar size? I'd rather like to get rid of the yellow interior light ;)

yep you need 2. the link i gave you is for 2 though so everything you need is there :D

iv switched the interior light to a white one. bulb there is 42mm aswell. was looking for a link for you but the one i bought isnt listed anymore because i bought it ages ago.

Tidy little car you have there, i have got to get some of that HD wax, love cleaning my car (i know, how sad!). Do you think it would work on my paintwork though? Also, how much did it cost you, i have heard it is expensive?

Nah not insanely expensive mate. I got the kit (150g pot of wax, 2 foam applicator pads and 1 buffing cloth) for £26 off eBay :)

To be honest, the pot will last years, I barely scratched the surface when I used it.

My general cleaning route for the exterior is;

1. Hose down/Pressure wash
2. Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo with warm water (use the 2 bucket method) with a lambswool or microfibre mitt.
3. Dry down with a large drying towel (better than chamois leathers)
4. Polish using Autoglym Super Resin Polish
5. Use Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection
6. Autoglym HD Wax (applied with foam pad)

I apply and buff 4-6 with these and they do an amazing job!

And it comes out blimmin fantastic

Anyone got better tips??

I'm pretty tempted to invest in a snowfoam lance :)

I reckon it takes about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to do that routine, however Extra Gloss Protection requires 30mins-1hr to cure so I generally spend this time on the interior or polishing the alloys.

I'm tempted to buy a good clay bar; how much do you tend to spend on them? Autoglym's Surface Detailing Clay Kit is £21.95, and Chemical Guys Clay Block and Luber is £18.95, so I'm definitely tempted ;)

All I now need is an indoor detailing room, but unfortunately my garage is filled with tonnes of useless crap

WTF! how can you do all that in 2 hours? it takes me the best part of a day to polish and wax my car. Maybe its because i am really fussy it takes ages cos i have to have every part with no trace of polish lol, OCD ftw!

Well, the last time I did it, I guess I took 3 1/2, but I was helping my brother apply/buff products to his, sooo perhaps just my poor time keeping

But I am veryyyyy OCD about the tiniest bit. When ever I'm finished drying the car, I go round several times finding any last drip to avoid water marks ;)

However even after my pressure wash it looked brand spanking new, which was great. <3 HD wax. Will most likely wash it properly next Wednesday.

Pictures of my new interior/numberplate lights will be up soon once they have arrived :D

Lol, i even use the edge of the drying cloth to go into the edges of lights, panel gaps etc to make sure there will be no water marks, cant stand when you go to put the wax on and you can see a dribble of water :banned:

Looking forward to see how your new bulbs turn out as i was thinking of buying the ones in the link posted earlier, but thought it would be best to wait and see how yours turns out!

Hah, I'm the SCN Guineapig, go me

I'm really tempted to get some snow foam, as I always manage to get a tinnyyy bit of dirt in a crack which dirties my polishing cloth [:@]

I think I already have a snowlance (what my dad told me atleast... ), so perhaps buying a bottle of that and some clay wouldn't go a miss :D

i personally would not bother with snow foam as it is designed for cars that have caked on dirt, whereas my car is never that dirty that i would need it. Most of the dirt comes of when i pressure wash.
