Chip Wizards for custom remap???

As the title says really, has anyone used Chip Wizards, i.e Wayne Schofield, for a remap? Iv heard he has a very good reputation, being able to remap pretty much anything with amazing results. Im very very tempted to go with him, just wanted other peoples opinions before i hand over the £450. Thanks

from what i remember from my French Car ownership days (5-10 years ago), Wayne Schofield was the man for custom mapping.
if you'd gone down the route of, cams, throttle bodies, poss big bore head, anything needing to run on stand alone ecu....... he was the guy that always was reccommended on the citroen / pug forums to get your mapping done. I
IRC he also worked for a company a day or 2 a week over Northampton / Peterborough way i think....... can't remember the company name but remember the companies customer being renown for really bad customer service....... no reflect on Wayne BTW

like i said, this was some time ago, what his skills compare to the well known VAG tuners i can't say.

Where are P-Torque based? iv heard a lot about them, and they dont use off the shelf software?

They are based in Wolverhampton mate. I have there stage 2 map and its very good

ok you guys have made my mind up, im booked in for remap with AMD Essex on saturday. I suppose i cant really go wrong with them going off their reputation. It'l be a long drive but hopefully it'll be worth it and i can have a good play on the way home

hi id like to put my opinion in on this one after going to him today....he deffinetely knows his stuff and is a nice guy to talk to and get on with he showed me all round the garage including his project which i wont diclose any info on just incase he wants to keep it secret... and explained each step to the process....unfortunately due to my fuel pump not been up to the pressure required we were not able to finish the map to what he knew the car was capable of so kept the standard map i went with he has saved all the files and i will be booking in for another session where hopefully the fuel pump will be up to the job!
he also has a lot of experience behind him and has a prtfolio in the kitchen area where you can see his work on some very high powered race cars including porsches! he also said he has never advertised as such through websites or advertisements so surely if people recommend him and he is as booked up as he is he must be good!!?
