Hey,

I'm booked in for a stage 1 remap and i've been looking into mods... I want a nice loud-ish exhaust. ( I dont want to have a cat/dpf delete)
Any advice on a decent Performance exhaust that will sound nice on my car?
Also been looking into "Air filter/Induction kits, are they worth the money for my car, will it make much difference to the sound or are they not worth it as been told it doesn't make much difference with sound to the CR.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks :)

There's only one silencer box on the stock exhaust anyway, most off the shelf kits have the same so the exhaust will only be a touch deeper.
You'll probably need a a custom straight through or to gut the DPF to get much more noise.

The stock airbox flows more than enough air for a stage 1 tune, you won't get anything from an induction kit.

I've looked into straight through exhaust and it will delete the dpf/ cat which isn't something I want to do.
So basically I have to stick to no mods after my remap is what your advising, until I want the stage 2 😂😭😭

There is my straight through turbo back 2.5 inch exhaust to a gutted out backbox.
Sounds great

Yea but you'll get 200 bhp from stage 1, then maybe 10bhp extra from stage 2. Can get 220, with full straight through and a bigger FMIC, but you're properly onto the law of diminishing returns.

The cheap and easy gains are off a simple remap, couple of hundred quid gets you 30bhp.
