Can't get sidelights out

Ive never had to, but a lad i know has a cupra and both his side lights have gone he asked me how to get them out so i went to look but bloody things won't come out could someone please tell me how the hell they come out please?

side lights as in side indicators or actual side lights in the headlights?

I think they have tabs on them that you need to push in while pullong them out, they are a pig to get out

The capless bulbs in the mk1 are lilttle shits to get out, as DK says they have tabs that need pushing in...you need about 6 pairs of babys hands to change them!

I seem to recall watching a team of 'rocket scientists' doing this at a meet in Brum once many moons ago... damn you need some ikkle tiny hands to do it.

long nose pliers and a twist and yank on the pasengers side remove the battery for better acsess on drivers remvoe the hose. I did 2 yestoday took me all of 2 mins just put the bulbs in the wrong way as there led and only work one way.
