haha well thing is as my bro steeve said you could get a 1.4tdi spend loads on it and still have less than a standard 1.9tdi whereas if you for for a 1.9tdi atleast you can make it real fast. i know it sounds like i'm just trying to make you spend more money now but see what the difference is from 110bhp to 130bhp because i think they have diferent internals and i know they have a smaller turbo which means that will cost you shitloads of money if you really want to tune this car up might be worth trying to strech to the 130 in the first place see what the difference s on insurence and price of the car try doing just the 130sport not the fr because i'm sure that fr badge ads alot onto the price of the car and the insurence, btu really what you need to do mate is go into seat get your pen and paper out and write this

1.9 100bhp car price per month: Insurence per month: Total per month:

1.9 130bhp car price per month: Insurence per month: Total per month:

1.9 130FR car price per month: Insurence per month: Total per month:

then post the figures on here see how much extra it is going to cost you from being hmm this car is ok or GOD DAM IT I LOVE MY CAR!!!!!! you will be suprised mate then think if i do get the sport i will prob wanna buy the fr bumpers anyway lol

p.s sorry for such a long reply lol

no worries! wise words! the fr does add on the insurance loads! its only a little bit more over a year int that much really! as for payments etc, ill have a word with them.... i think ima go for the 1.9 100bhp as its got the power.... but still room for improvement and wont take my bank to the cleaners! lol

little things adding to it should make it a bit more fun!
just looked at the spec....its only £500 more for the 1.9 compared to the 1.4.... wot a con the 1.4 is!

its all the same apart from the 1.4 is slower and rubbisher! lol

and its a reference sport, which is dull anyway compared to the sport and fr etc etc!

If you dont mind me asking, how old are you and do you have NCD. I was paying 1800 for a Punto with a broker, then switched to More Than and got the FR TDI for £1000. Im 18 with 1 years NCD. Try a internet quote mate.;)

Has to be RED!

I've been considering buying an FS [special edition 100BHP 1.4 like the DAB] and most of the photos in the brochure for the sporty looking models are red. I know the cupra isn't but I personally think that red really sets off the car.

Wouldn't worry about scratches ... you're going to get them whatever colour and I have had silver, black, blue, vibrant green [!],white cars over the years and it still looks terrible when someone scratches it!

Good luck and make sure you post a photo!!

my advice first things first get a pd160 intake and green cotton filter, get the pd160 intake from seat temselves you can prob pick the parts up on the same day as the car ;) green cotton air filter i got from their website direct took 9 days for delivery though :S that low will prob cost you about £65 thats the start lol makes the turbo whistle a bit more and get a slight increase but give me a call when your going to do this and i will come and help you hack it apart to get better air flow.

lol, £17.50 per month! you'll save that by driving to the pub at the weekends as you'll be loving the car and will WANT to be the designated driver!
