Wow this thread is confusing...get them, don't get them, best/worst tyre ever!
All I know is that I fitted FK452's before the map and since then they have really been struggling and I need to upgrade. I had T1R's on my old Civic which were great but the car was totally different and with alot less torque, I really need a tyre than can deal with it and I am not sure a T1-R is up to the job?
GY F1 Assy are £110 each + fitting, that's alot of cash but then again I don't mind paying it if they're going to be superb. However, previous posts indicate that they're awful in the wet and living in a country with wet weather 75% of the year, that's not a good thing.
So really it appears my choice boils down to T1R's or Vredestein. Has anyone run a direct comparison?
I'll be honest, I've never heard of Vredestein before but I am open to them, my only issue is that they look alot like the Pirelli P-Zero Rosso from the sidewall which was a blocky, ugly looking tyre where as I remember the T1-R being a whole lot nicer to look at on the rim.
