Seat Leon 1.4 (2018 - 40k on the clock) Cambelt Replacement cost on the seat dealer website is coming up at £912.00 !

Wasn't expecting it to be so much :( Is there anyway to get this price down via a service plan or something from main dealer ?

A Seat service plan will only cover basic servicing - e.g. oil / filter change and inspection. Other serviceable items (e.g. brake fluid changes, DSG service, cam belt, air con service, brake pads etc.) are charged for separately in addition to service plan work. Some dealership groups may have their own versions of a service plan but I dare say they would also only cover basic servicing.

I‘d do as @andy2max has suggested and find a good, reputable independent VAG specialist.

Lots of discussion on the 1.4 and timing belts and if it is required.
Have a search:

Independent will be half the price and better service.

1.4TSI 16V petrol engines should be from the EA211 family of engines, all of them should be covered by the change in recommendations that VW Group issued a few years ago, ie the original cambelt must be replaced every 5 years, was dropped to bring the cars supplied to UK owners in line with what other European markets recommendation was.

So, if I was in your shoes, I'd consider what that was, there must come a point in these engine's life where replacing the cambelt is a good idea wrt to preventative maintenance - my wife's August 2015 1.2TSI 110PS Polo, is currently at roughly 54,000 miles, I check the condition of the belt at every yearly service, but I might consider getting it replaced this year - just in case, I'd only do that if I felt confident that the Indie I got to do that job, has the special kit and is comfortable with doing that job as too many owners have been left with a rather "dull" engine after getting that job done!

Yes, the 'new' special kit to do the job properly looks very complicated to use and costs a small fortune!!

I had my cambelt changed at 105k. I'm on roughly 204k, now so looking to get it done again. I paid approx £386 for a cambelt, serpentine belt and gearbox oil change last time. Im expecting it to be a little more this time but no where near your dealer price. I went to a VAG specialist in Milton keynes.
