Yep. The Fabia feels a bit more refined and the FR Ibiza feels frisky. A few mods here and there will transform either to how you want it to handle, ride like. There a hell of a lot more Fabia VRS's for sale so more choice. I Looked for an FR with 5drs. and only 3 available in the UK and only 1 black one which is what I want under £8000.
£7k seems reasonable for a good un, push the dealer hard especially a week before xmas, I wouldn't be concerned about the year, might be the one I was looking at?

Iv let that one go this time, i know what you mean about theres alot more vrs`s for sale especially in black and silver, i dont see many 5dr fr`s and in black but atleast you know what your aiming for an dont settle for any less, the one i was looking at was a grey colour. The vrs seems alittle less sporty then the fr, but with them been in 5dr there more practical.

Guy i know wrote his vrs off just outside my village last week during all the bad weather we had on the east coast an hes such careful driver an that i was gutted for him, an it wasnt like he could buy it back either it was such a mess.

I think the VRS is a lot less sporty looking than the FR, nowhere near as aggressive from the front or side view. BUT that its real appeal as its such a wolf in sheeps clothing .

For me the 3 door Ibiza looks the nuts but if i needed 5 doors i would give the VRS a lot of time as the hidden perfomance concept really appeals.

Yeah the VRS does look like that an not taking anything away from skoda but there not renowned for been sporty and fast like the seats have been in the last 5 to 10 yrs with the GTI`s and Cupras, but the fabia is an doesnt really give it away. an i agree with you on the ibiza looking more aggressive from most angles.

The fabia is definietly worth looking at for the 5 doors with most of the ibizas been mostly in 3 door. Im still keeping an aye out at the moment wait till the new year and see if anything comes about.
