ITV4 at 12.30pm

I've followed race 1 on live timing. I think it might be unmissable for all the wrong reasons. :help: Currently red flagged!

Wet racing at Croft too. Should no doubt be action packed.

Jelley was hit after he was stationary, which concerns me for the marshalls.

Hope no one has been badly hurt.

Correction, looks like Alan Taylor's teg not Andrew Jordan's

Good to hear Alan Gow say the marshall's are not badly hurt.

Live timing indicates that the track is now classed as Extremely wet!! Session is also indicated as finished after only 2 laps.

I know of no pressedance for it really. Oulton Park had a long session of stoppage due to a thunderstorm a few years ago. The porshce race ended up being cancelled and re-run at Mondello park. This caused the SCC race to go half distance at Oulton also, and half points awarded.

I'm not sure on the regulation, its based on percentage of distance completed. But personally i think it should either be re-run or classed as a non race.

So who knows the rule's in-side-out, I just heard mention of half points , no points or points awarded on qualifying, is that actually possible?

This is the problem with crappy old tracks, drainage is crap, no funds to improve it, therefore lots of puddles..

Thing is they are happy to sit back and take a wad of money for these events. Where's the cash go?

Looks like the regs may indicate this race will be a scrapper. We'll have to see.
