yeah, very poor showing... some bad luck, some bad choices I'm sure.... dry pads on a wet track?

WTCC was dull as ditch water too.

Nothing else can be said really, Terrible weekend, half season break now time to re-group and re-think before Snetterton.

Cheer up, guys, there's a SEAT in 2nd

Shame he can't score some manufacturers points.

Take nothing away from Adam Jones, blinding drive and a great weekend for him.

The ups and downs with the factory team though is soul destroying sometimes.

Still have faith they can turn the 2nd half of the season around, but they know how to make it hard for themselves. :ban:

Not even much coverage of the SCN hospitality unit, I only saw it the once....

Middle left at the back is what i think is an SCN banner, top left in the yellow is Amanda (Mrs. Empi5), and the half a head poking out from behind the brolly is Mini Merrin.

The team are hurting from this one too, given the text i just received. Pretty bad day all in all considering it started out so promising in qualifying.

But what's done is done, time to move on and get prepared for Snetterton in a 6 weeks. Hopefully a stronger second half of the season.

Anybody else have a go on the "Seat Driving Simulator"? Gran Turismo 4 running Ibiza FR's.

Good fun that was, I've won some sort of Seat Track Day experience at Prodrive. Was dead proud of myself until I realised it proves I have no life!!!

Wife and I watched this on the TV and verdict was maybe once the developments over they can mount a serious challenge in 2008??? When Adam Jones in team Aircool can string a 2nd place together against a works team you have to scratch your head.

Despite our temporary defection to Audi we still support SEAT at BTCC , WTCC , SCC etc... and since 2003 we've been hanging on for a SEAT championship win. It's got to come soon, but will Plato still be in the saddle by then??

they know how to make it hard for themselves. :ban:

Indeed.. they've had plenty of practice.. :(

The problem with SEAT is that whereas everyone else has bouts of bad luck, which is inevitable; year after year they inflict themselves with mistakes/infringements all too often when other teams don't..

Such a shame given they obviously work very hard indeed

well i was there yesterday and have to say that was the wettest croft i have ever seen in the 5 years i've been going there. There was not only standing water on the track but the whole area was soaked through.
The exit from the grass cark park was rather entertaining come the end of the day:cartman::lol:

I've never seen a Range rover struggle in mud before..
