Just got back from Brands and it was a good day out. The sun was shining (most of the time) and it was great to meet up with the familiar faces again. Pics to come once I've sorted through them all...

I had an idea they might penalise Adam for that move but still surprised they did.

JP deserved the win, though feel sorry for Jonny as it was a bit of a dream race for him.

However with the pace that the BMW's have I'm sure that's not the last podium opportunity. He's just got to be more careful how he leans on other cars. :)

Here here, the usual banter and schanigans with a good day out despite being branded a traitor

Ill get some of my pictures sorted after i tuck in to the roast dinner :p

You woke me up !!! Thanks for the stickers lol !!

Was some great racing. I almost thought Plato was out towards the end when he span out but, he held onto that really well. Blasted Neal on his tail all the way around though :censored:

What can ya say. Points for both Leons in all races, Johnny Adam stripped of a win, Gio Struggling all day, Plato bringing a Chevy home in P1 (gotta feel a bit sorry for Johnny Adam), John George breaking another Integra.

All made a fantastic day. Good to see some familiar faces again.

Great way to kick off the season:)

Must say that save from Plato was one of the best recoverys I have ever seen withough loosing too much track position

The G50's were amusing, the guy that won the first race of the day that lost his bonnet (& aero) and hopped out at druids to collect it and attempted to drive off with it wa a giggle

Sorry I was being antisocial, I had a guest I was entertaining, who's now been sold on the idea of Touring cars:)

Maybe he went to the same driving school as Shedden and Neal:think:

Well he did learn at Knockhill and was quite possibly taught by Shedden there. Says it all. ;)

Decent day's racing, but fed up with all the punts up the rear end and the taps in the rear quarter all the time. Especially from Neal. If you can't do it reasonably fairly, then why bother.

Just saw the TV there. To me it looks like the Neal-Collard crash at Paddock 3 years ago, when the Neals threatened to sue Collard for the damage to the car. Don't think Adam meant it, as Plato locked up and Adam had nowhere to go, rather like Collard did when Neal braketested him.

If Plato does get out at Thruxton, it'll be interesting to see how sideways it gets, he was looking very loose at the rear yesterday because of the setup they were using.

Amusing to see Chilton struggling way down, despite however much of daddy's money is getting thrown at it. They have an electrical problem which causes them to lose power during gearchanges and they can't solve it at the moment. Until they do, there's no point in getting too involved in setup changes.

That chevy doesn't half pull away dotn a decent straight!

Hope they can get the pace up with it for Plato's sake.

I think from the post race tv interview afterwards, Plato brushed it off as a racing incident and congratulated Jonny Adam. Though a bit of Steve Rider cohersion was in full effect to be honest.

Would appear though it's the officials that decided Adam's fate, whether RML / Plato made a protest is unknown, but I doubt they did.

Have to agree, Plato seemed quite light hearted about the incident (was on live tv though). I think he was more impressed with the outside overtaking move on Neal.

Had an excellent day yesterday! Took about 650 pictures in all, bit disappointed with some of them, particularly the Porsche ones as I felt I had a good position for them but I did get some good ones!

Pleased that JP was there at all, he adds so much to the race with aggression and drama! His car control through Paddock Hill in Race 3 was unbelievable and the crowd at Druids where I was at the time applauded!

Pleased for John George too, as he managed to finish a race at Brands:rolleyes:

Was impressed with the Ginetta G50s aswell, a couple kept getting sideways through the exit of Druids and the winner who stopped up there to pick up his bonnet. He put it back on, drove off and then had to brake again, only for the bonnet to slide right back off again:D

Did see a few cars on the lower South Bank that I recognised (I was parked up the top)!
