Model Year 24/25 Brand New Formentor Problems - Alarm going off and Hybrid Warning

So I’m 2 days into owning a brand new Cupra Formentor and was rudely awoken this morning by the alarm going off on the car, I managed to silence it using the key fob but then noticed a warning on the dash stating that there was an issue with the Hybrid System, I’ve tried starting the car but nothing switches on. I’m now unable to move the car.

In addition the day we were due to collect the car the dealership phoned and explained that the 12v battery had discharged (assuming due to it being sat on the forecourt for a while), they were going to charge it and have checked that the battery is not faulty. Assuming the 2 problems are related? anyone got any other ideas of what’s going on? going to ring the dealership today but at the moment I’ve got a lump of metal blocking the driveway.

So roadside assistance came out and identified a 1.5amp draw on the power when the car was locked. So have dropped it off at the dealership and await them to tell me what’s wrong. Somewhat disappointing considering car is 2 days old and dealership could have found this if they’d looked before handing the car over.

Car still with the dealership. Tried to fob us off with 'one of the cells within the battery it dead’ and we’ll replace the battery, only to get a phone call on the day of collection saying they’ve found another fault with the Body Control Module which wakes up in the night and powers up other modules (therefore drains the battery). Current considering whether to reject the car and get a full refund

No we didn’t get to the bottom of the problem. I’m currently going through rejecting the car with Cupra customer care (car was under 30 days old). Car still sat with the dealership, they seem to be going round in circles, if they find the root cause I’ll post what it was.

When I bought my Formentor I had a problems with the dealer from Hell whom shall remain nameless (Marshall Cupra Leicester) they were so bad I contacted Cupra customer services and their Manager took over and he was really excellent and sorted the problems out for me it was obvious he cared about Cupra`s reputation and customers - unlike the dealer!
