Brake Disc Size on Ibiza DAB

Does anyone know what size the front brake discs are on a Seat Ibiza 1.4 DAB 2006 (petrol 100bhp)? Is it 288mm or 256mm? I think the rear discs are 232mm. Is that correct? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

232mm on the Rear is Correct & I make the fronts to be 288mm.

256mm on the front. i just got some for my partners 1.2 & it said on the box they were to fit 1.2 1.4 1.6

My DAB (though the 1.9 TDi engine) is 288mm up front and 232mm on the rear.

thanks for the reply's. so can anyone confirm if front disc on 1.4 petrol DAB 2006 are 256mm or 288mm?

My PD100 Sport had the 256mm disc on the front - You can check. If the Caliper says FSIII on it then it's the 256mm disc. If it's not then it's the 288mm disc.

P.S.

The FSIII Caliper is bolted directly to the HUB - Confused me at first when I was changing the discs (Hadn't seen this set up before) but turned out to almost be easier than a standard caliper set-up.

brilliant thanks. caliper does say FSIII. have just ordered disc and pads all round from justpartsbiz.co.uk £117 all in for mintex discs and pads all round.

irric a tdi 130 or 1.8t 150and above are 288mm (cupras having 312mm) and the rest are 256 i think

Eh, this thread is in the MK4 2002 > 2008 Ibizas, I can't think of any having a 1.2TSI engine from the factory.

Anyway, later Ibiza like MK5 with the lower power output version of that engine should have been the only ones to get 256mm front discs, but it looked like SEAT were being a bit tight when assembling some cars!
