You'll find the plugs actually split in 2, 1 smaller plug with the smaller wires and the 2 thicker wires in each plug stay in the main housing. If you want more ease then you could de-pin those but it's not critical.

It might even be not both plugs are in the left side and it's only 1 you need to get through, I don't have my car still so I can't check on mine sadly.

Hi All
I finally swapped the grommet over today and it went ok, I did however have to depin all plugs to get them through the tube, there must be more wiring on my car. It went ok with plenty of pictures to remind me where each wire went.
