Boost Pressure Control Valve (N249): Mechanical Malfunction

Just scanned the LC with VCDS before doing some logging in a bit and see this code...

Checked visually and see no issues... funny how this code has only popped up after it visited the main dealer for coil packs ... :rolleyes:

Will clear it in a moment and go for drive - any ideas?

Well logging shows car running well although IAT's of 45degc in this temps is hilarious...

I'm wondering if taking boost gauge off the DV is causing the issue?

No you can take the feed from any vacuum point.
It is still connected to the loom under the plate?
Loads of done the delete, I'm sure there will be one flying around.

Well after mucho discussion it does seem as though the DV could be playing up ... or a possible boost leak ... so that's tonights job :)

If after checking the above still flagging fault then I will bypass the N249 as a test.

well if the dealer changed the coil packs, they removed the n249 to get them out yeh? so they broke it in other words. sounds about right lol
