boost gauge to be fitted by JBS tomorrow

Hi people. I am having my boost gauge fitted to my leon tdi and I was wondering if it can cause problems like boost leak etc, as they have to tap into the boost hose. Is it worth fitting a boost gauge. Any advice.

I use to have a boost gauge fitted to my car, but it pissed me off due to the gauge being noisy, it didn't leak, but when i put my FMIC on it got louder!!! i took it off in the end!!

true i suppose. my gauge was a autometer one... wasn't that cheap though...
