Bolt-down Coil Packs *DON'T FIT MY CAR*

I DID attempt to fit them, they did'nt connect to my spark plugs as they were too short.

How do you know that they didnt connect to the spark plugs? Did you try running the car and get a misfire?
This could have been due to the coilpack being faulty
