The amount of time's i've gone off at lights a bit heavy and look down and realize i'm going 20-30 mph more than i thought, it climbs in speed so quickly you have to be careful!

Agreed, in 2nd you can easily be speeding in a 30/40 zone if you give it a quick go.

However, no matter how hard i drove the Ibiza or the leon i struggled to get it below 32 (ibiza) and 29 (leon).

You just need to ask yourself "Can i behave myself driving this car"

btw the answer will definately be NO!

and that's what it gives you, smiles & giggles..........i find if you want a good kick, for the true feel for the speed , get the blood flow abit quicker. when you are doing an average speed, just paddle shift down 3 gears..... you do feel the force hehehe... better than kickdown, because i think that only drops a gear or two !!!!!!!!!!

Well finally bought a 10 plate with convenience pack. Now got to wait for plate transfer. I asked the dealer about remaps and he said to avoid as a local company (Preston) had tried to remap some and had wiped the ecu altogether then had to take them back to seat dealer to rewrite the ecu.
What's everyone's opinion on this?

That the company were obviously amatures! Also never ask a dealer about remaps unless they are a revo dealer as well.

REVO rocks!!!!! I am not in the least dissapointed I got the map from them and the knowledge that they test their product thoroughly before releasing it gives you piece of mind.

Looks like i'll have to get it booked in. Does the microphone button on the steering column only do the phone or does it have speech recognition for radio and other things?

Microphone button only for phone commands buddy. Yes these cars are stupidly quick and you can't fault them for that, I average 35 to 40 mpg, that's driving like a saint in D with the odd overtake. I felt the need to upgrade my brakes to the sport ones cos it goes forwards quick but not to a standstill quick. The Boc is a great car and I love it. People understimate it on the roads.
