how is the rear bumper going?

well I still need a rear crash bar because it was included in the old rear bumper but the new one have a separate one that I don't have. Maybe I can cut it from the old bumper.
I just don't like the way the bumper fit on sides because you can see a bit of gap from the bumper and the sub-frame but I think this happens because I still have on the old fender-cover you know the one inside the wheel arch, I think the new ones are supposed to cover that gap. I've still to make two holes on the bottom of the sub-frame to attach the two bolts that new bumper needs. Anyway it is a lot better than before lol

It is same time since last update but I haven't had a lot of money to buy stuff and I missed my camera so couldn't post new pics anyway I just took some pics with phone:

I found some "carbon fiber look" decals at the shop, I've always thought they were that kind of stuff you want to stay away but I decided to give it a try and damn, that looks hot LOL

i know pics suck I need to do a real photoshoot at the car

spoiler is at the body shop so I hope it will be installed soon
then I'll do tint on rear windows
there is also black grill going on the front lip
then coilovers from hottuning
then black wheels with blue lip
and last thing I'd like to put some light car graphic on the side.

I installed the cupra wing and I'm still looking for decent wheels. In the meanwhile some photoshops with window tinted, suspesions, side skirts and different 14 wheels:

wow, absolutely stunning mate, one of my favourites on this site, its a shame about the wheel law thing...

if you want my opinion, for me the oz superturismo in black or the clio with the black centres, more the clios i think

id say go for the clio with the black centres and some nice low profiles on them

was thinkin you should try get those parts sprayed black to go with the tints and get the front windows tinted slightly, it will look good on a night!

should look like one big window, on the S version that is already black and looks great with tints imo

thats mine and they are already black, as you can see i have no tints but becuase is been taken on a night it looks a bit tinted, kinda like one big window not sure if you'll like this but just a thought matey... would go great with that lush blue you have

Yesterday I found a set of 15" Momo Tuner 4x100 ET38 at the tyre shop, they're in bad shape and need to be resprayed but I love the '90 look of those LOL
I'm thinking about 195/50-15 or 195/55-15, any advice welcomed

Just changed also front pads and front right joint (not sure if you call it joing in english, I mean that thing that when is broke makes a TA-TA-TA sound when turning LOL) with new boot and clamps.
Then yesterday my battery dyed and I've to call some friend of mine lol. This car hates me. It seems every time I change something broken then something else broke the same day.

Hi guys, long story I ended gave back the wheels I found because one of them was bent then yesterday I found another set of wheels locally and it is incredible but it was another set of the same Momo Tuner 15" and so I've thought that it was my destiny to buy this kind of wheels and so I buy this set too. Today I tried them, really sorry for the really bad pics but I didn't have much time to take pics anyway:

you can also see the difference between 195 on left side and 185 on right side. Anyway this is just a preview because I still can't install the wheels on the car. In pics wheels look bad but in real it is a nice improvment. Still looking for stock 16" wheels someday I need to repaint the 5 inserts on wheels maybe I'll paint them the same blue of the car, we'll see

decided to sell the 15" wheels (have it legally allowed would cost me too much) and looking for a set of 14", only one I've found are 3 spokes millemiglia wheels, similar to this:

A bit of wetsanding yesterday

I had this car repainted one year ago, paint job was a cheap one so not the best quality and so there are some imperfections. The only one I could try to resolve was the huge orange peel. So today I gave a try on the hood.

I started from this (car was just washed and clayed. look at the orange peel and the poor reflection):

Since I knew the real quality of the paint job and didn't want to remove too much clearcoat I first gave a try with 2000 grit

It ended that orange peel was too much and so switched to 1500 grit (I knew something more abrasive was required but I didn't want the perfect reflection, just an acceptable orange peel).

1500 first pass

1500 second pass

some imperfection too deep

then 2000 grit in opposite direction

and ready to polish

start with a polishing compound

Switching to a more abrasive compound and back to a polishing compound

ended with finishing compound on polishing pad worked for hours lol

ok paint job still sucks and some marks are still visible somewhere but at last now I've some reflection and an acceptable orange peel. Now I should do the entire car
