The last RR i was on i only had a 13bhp powertrain loss( had 189hp at the wheels). TBH 25 and 30 bhp is too much of a loss so id say 13bhp would be more accurate as i cant see how a gearbox would make you lose up to 30bhp.
it's not just the gearbox, you've got quite a few more pulleys and wheel size also makes a difference on the rollers. I've never seen a test done here in Portugal that doesn't have at least 20hp difference. 90% of the time they give much less hp than I've seen on tests done in the UK. but not important.
all of these variations make it even more difficult! probably opt for Revo if I get it done sooner rather than later. Or custom code if I've had some work done
I think that when JBS have their rollers set up and we have a SCN RR day then we can possibly come back to this thread.
Since i havent had mine RR'd yet since having a hybrid turbo put on i haven't got a clue how much bhp/torque mine is producing. I would estimate about 210-225 bhp and 350lbft of torque
Awesome's rollers reckoned 186bhp at the fly - there's a debate on at the mo about whether losses that low are realistic or not. I did read somewhere a guy saying that if you lost 30bhp through the drivetrain & transmission basically it would be so hot as to glow dull red & boil your oil away....
What isn't in dispute is the wheel figure (175bhp) and, as far as I am aware, the car is completely standard (bought it new last august and it hasn't been touched since.).
Just out of interest. Have you had yours remapped a year down the line mate? I've spotted a dig by someone about Custom Code in this thread too. Whys that?
