Any preferences on exhaust for a nice raspy noise?

My MKV R32's exhaust note was special - the exhaust is tuned for that sound, giving a nice rasp and gargle BUT my Alfa GTA's exhaust note was a lot boomier with the engine making the rasp and noise.

I'm not stupid an know they are both V6's but I miss the noise and even my MINI Cooper S gargled and popped!

Can the LCR give the same note? I will basically be going Milltek unless there is an exhaust that will give the sound I want.

i have the miltek non res exhaust, sounds like a jet when passing, from inside the car it sounds super smooth. tbh i love the sound of my car, as for looks i love the scorpion and blueflame tail pipes.
i think if your after a raspy noise i think a jap style back box will do the job.
this kinda thing

you'll need a 3" DP with a race cat, remove mid silencer and change rear silencer with a turbo muffler. Sported :)

I had a full Piper turbo back on my old LCR, that was raspy alright! Popped when you eased off aswell. Was pretty loud. The milltek's are too quiet for me.

Pipers ain't cheap though.
