Hey guys . In your opinion, where should the cai pipe be facing and what should it be made of. I Had a BMC fitted at Awesome last year to my MKIII with a what can only be described as a drain for a pipe which is metallic and is not smooth. behind my fog light. If I need to swap the hose what should I get instead? as a little niggle in the back of my mind says that the airflow may be impeded by this crock of :censored:

Where do people have there air intake pipe located/situated. Any piccies would help. I have a MKIII Ibiza. Should the end of the pipe be facing forwards, downwards or backwards.

Thanks in advance

Mine goes down the wing and is attached to the bottom of the SMIC intake. Works very well, When i had a pipercross induction kit with no Cold air feed i saw 14 psi, Now with std air box and proper cold air feed i see 16psi, sometimes std items are best!!!!

Nice one guys, so can anyone take a photo for me . or describe where it sits in a bit more detail. My BMC pipe is down by the SMIC and looks dodgy to me as to close the road and if I was sat there I'd be turbulent which according to Badge Type R and cu51pra is not good . Put on by Awesome Gti if that helps

Mines in the top of the wing facing backwards towards the rest of the car.

I utilised the foam guide from the stanrdard filter in the wing, removed it and trimmed a hole big enough for the Dynatwist intake pipe, and then refitted!
