Took mine out a while back, noticed a bit of a difference. Seemed a bit quicker off the line, but the back end felt a bit light on spirited drives, a bit skippy through the corners. Took all of about 15 mins to do, and removes the weight of a small hippo from the back. Had to put them back in unfortunately =.=

Took all the seats out (except the driver's) for a drive down to Wales to pick up a new interior, made a noticeable difference to performance. Definitely felt more lively. If you've got a 1.2 then shedding weight is definitely the best performance mod you can do!

My rear seats weigh in at 30kg so loosing that weight can only be good. However driving normally on the road you won't notice 30kg's but the more you get a move on the more you'll notice the weight loss. I have other weight loss items and it makes your car fitter and more nimble.
My 19kg battery is in the spare wheel well so it sits low and away from the heavy engine....this is good! Air con in the bin...this is good, light weight wheels, light weight driver seat, light steering wheel (saves 6kg) and no spare wheel. It all adds up and makes the car much better to drive as long as you can live with a slight loss in practicality.

The seats themselves all just clip out, but the rear seatbelt will need unbolted, 17mm socket iirc.

Seat bases are dead easy and the backs you just drop forward then get a screwdriver or something and theres a thing you slide back to let one side out of its clip then just wriggle the other side out.

Dead easy, sounds complicated the way I've described it but all will become clear when looking at them lol
