Took the beeza in to my local garage today to have some work done.

had the cambelt done everything replaced that came in the kit.

Also had the alternator belt/ power steering belt changed.

Had a plate welded in the sill and smoothed over and primed up.

I also had a ding in the boot (just beyond the spoiler) which was beated back out.

had all this done for about £230. i was quite pleased with that. :)

what do you reckon?

Done well there mate considering SEAT charge nearly £300 to do the cambelt, it's always best to change everything at once then it's all of the same age and you don't have to keep taking things apart!

What exactly have you had done to the sill there as 1 of mine is quite bad and thought I may have to have a whole section replaced??

hi grayboy, i was in the same boat as you with the sills. one of mine was really bad. They cut out the rust and welded a plate in. Then grinded it back and skimmed over and primmed. Done a pretty good job considering it was just a general gararge. once it is sprayed it will look reallly good.
