I can't answer as a matter of fact, becasue I never saw the auction he purchased it from, but I would say there's a 99% chance it didn't, as most of these are made in the States, and they don't have Ibiza's there.
But as he says, the Golf, Bora, A3 etc have the same fitting - even 5 and 6 speed share the same kit so it will definately work.
When i bought mine the ibiza was listed in the auction, so was the mk4 golf, Bora and beetle. The guy who i bought it from doesn't sell them anymore, but the one in the link in my first post is definately the same.
ive just fitted my ebay copy without lifting the car! it was a bit tricky but im sure a lot easier than taking exhaust off. just used long nose pliers to remove the retaining washer thing that holds the selecter rod. i know ive got all the names of bits wrong but it only took me an hour to fit just need gear nob to finish now
sorry didnt take any pics but i took the gaiter off by lifting the black plastic centre console its attached to and there are 4 plastic pins holding the gaiter on. then to take the knob off theres a clip that needs takin off then it all slides off
how did you get the centre console out maybe you could right a quick guide cos im looking to do this in the near future and i dont want to take dp off!!!
even with the centre console off completly it is quite fiddly!
to get the centre off i undid the 2 screws under a cap behind the handbrake then there are 2 plastic 10mm nuts near the gear stick once undone the whole console should come out in 2 parts the one that goes up to the dash will come out but is a bit tight.
