Right does anyone run one if these ?
Is it true that it changes it to a lift up reverse ?
Also can they be fitted from the top? Or do you need to remove the exhaust to fit it ?

Get an ebay copy there are identical and a fraction of the price. And yes you will need a new gearknob aswell as it is lift reverse.

You will need to remove the heatshield to get the to the shiftbox out as it comes out from underneath. Most people remove the dp to get it off (although 1 guy managed to do it without)

Whilst your at it you could topmount the shiftbox like I have which looks pretty cool.

I've got a complete kit Inc a b&m knob for not much more than an eBay jobbie !
I was hoping you could fit it from above like you can on a mk4 golf as I cannot be doing with removing the dp

Not upside down, just mount it on top rather than underneath. Raises it by about 4" so its a lot nearer the steering wheel.

Yeah they were covered in melted insulation (thanks to the downpipe)

That was the main reason I moved it tbh appart from it looking sweet.

Mixed reports here then ! I know it will be tight as with the golf it was like key hole surgery with a flat bladed screwdriver
