skorchio & moff, ill take a pic of the white faced gauges sender tomorrow

Here it is......this is the sender that comes with the white faced oil temp gauge
id imagine its identical aka i need an adapter
so if one of you could point me in the right direction...(but wouldnt an adapter lead to the probe not actually been in the oil due to spacing thread out?)

man dont you have quality friends with quality cars

It's a stock standard '94 L-Reg, with less miles than my LC...

He's always wanted one, and has finally found one worth buying.

Point to Note (not trying to justify anything):

The Cavalier Turbo 4x4 was produced between 1992 and 1994 with 5808 being built in total. As of March 2006 it was anticipated there was just 278 left on Britains roads with a further 125 declared SORN.

Which makes finding a nice one in the same league as Rocking Horse do-do.

Plus the fact the my mate in nearly 40 (and not some spotty Nova boy).

Anyway .. back to Boost Gauges...

to help people that are buying the new Nomad pod with the screw at the top. remove the top plastic clip from the car and use one of these (cut in half) and an M10 washer.

you can then cut a piece of wood to the right thickness and screw to the car.... after just screw the pod to the wood. it's solid.
