Hi guys

Just got one of these to work with my Mk1 Leon.

OK I have read some codes but am not really sure what its all about.
But my question relates to the reader.
It comes with a USB connector.

Is there a way to transfer the readings to the PC with this?

Firmware is 2.8 is that up to date.

And so you can comment on the codes I read here they are as well.

Would be grateful for guidance.

And

Just an update, the radio also shows 'sporadic antenna connection'

Also, re the P1602 I am wondering if its due to the garage recently disconnecting my battery when they replaced the clutch, maybe its safe to clear this one?

i like the vag405, its no VCDS but is cheap and does exactly as it says on the tin.

Hi, yeah it seems good, but I am very new to all this!
Still miss my mark 2 Cav, the only thing that plugged into that was the fag lighter

Anyway, any idea why my 405 comes up with link error on some of the options?

Yes because they are not supported, for instance if you tried to read say tyre pressure monitoring which you car wont have then it wont read it and come up with a link error.

Your car should work with all the important modules like engine, abs, airbag, air con and conveinience electrics.

Oh right, thanks!

There is one I took to mean central electrics, that said link error as well.

Guess I pick things up as I go :)

Hi

Can confirm all you said :)
You had 17 and 25 swapped around LOL
Also 56 Radio.

What is CONVEINIENCE CONTROL?

Also I can scan for oil service, it then askes for what car, Seat upto 2000 I assume that is engine size?

Also, there is OBDII/EOBD that seems to connect ok and says no faults.

Cheers
