Aura Radio Codes

Hi All,
I recently removed my Aura radio for an aftermarket one. After some issues with it see http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=237098 I've changed back to the original. The problem comes when the code for the radio doesn't seem to be written down. Is it the last few digits of the serial number? Or is the anywhere specific I should be looking?

if you know who was the main dealer who originally sold the car (usually says inside cover of service book) ring them as they may give it you for free, if they have it.

I just rang RM Fisher and they have given me a code to try, if not they said it costs 15+vat to get it.

too confirm the code given to me did work ok as i have now tried it.

so always worth ringing original dealer to see if they have it. I spoke to service dept and just said i have just bought it and have disconnected battery and the radio sticker has been removed from the manual. She just took the reg (nothing else not even a name) and gave it to me after a few mins on hold, RESULT.
