Big turbo the Leon mate :)

Yeah mine's a beast now in the power terms, still a long way to go though. But she goes like a train and makes motorways a breeze!

Tarmac terrorist lol, you fancying big tubo too like? my problem with it is , its a LOT of money to throw at the car which im never ever gonna see a penny back, but on the other hand iv gone this far, should i keep going lol

Totally loving the Leon mate youve got the look bang on with it fella , I keep trying to sus out the locations of the photos I used to live in the Boro and worked in Stockton for quite a few years , just wish I had your budget mate so many mods so little cash lol

Thanks man, the first location is in boro, its behind the buildings on the opposite side the the bongo nightclub, where the railway station is? and the second one is under the A19 flyover, if you went from portrack lane towards newport bridge into boro, before you get to the bridge theres a carpark on the right, if you go down the road at the side of the carpark it take you there lol, there you go, solved haha

Budget wise i havent gone as mad as some mate, everything i have bought i have hunted for on the cheap, i couldv spent £600 on coilovers but i payed £180, £500 on an exhaust but i sourced one off here for £125 used, just on those 2 items theres a big saving. Modding can be relatively cheap if you look in the right places and bide your time, i think iv spent £3500 in total on the car which is nothing compared to alot of the guys on here, plus a lot of that was maintenance such as clutch, cylinders, cambelt change etc even my uprated brakes i got cheaper than oe replacements lol

Glad people like it though makes the skinned knuckles worth while lol just have to see if it gets any attention at vw festival :D

No big turbo for me mate. 300bhp at the front wheels is enough on this chassis for sure.

I'll probably just ARB the car, and maybe LSD it next year. Uprated clutch by the end of the year is almost a certaintly. Current one feels rough, but I'm not surprised with the torque.. lol.

i really fancy something charged, was considering charging a 172 cup tbh, £4k for the kit, maybe £2k for the car, couple of bits and bobs, rip the back seats out etc so its about 950kg and 260bhp, nice! cheap fun that like, superb power to weight ratio and really thats what its all about, plus they handle mint

Ah the legend that is the bongo club lol i only ever went in once and vowed never again ! I used to work for reg vardy fiat on mandale triangle and then on portrack lane when they moved i was looking at audi rs6 wheels for my cupra but seeing how sexy those lm's look i might have to get some replicas because the real thing is well pricey :(

It might not start though, lol. Coilpacks and electrics are a nightmare on the ph2 Clio's but it is a French car so do expect these things.

I do love the whole 172 package though, superb handling and if you strip it and charge it or turbo it, it's ridiculous!! There's a Mark Fish Motorsport 172 Cup round the corner from me. Proper track focused thing with lightweight Speedline wheels, caged and bonnet catches etc. Looks sick. Straight through pipe sounds mental.

I payed £600 for the lot ready to bolt on mate, they do suit the leon, i took a chance and it payed off as they generally go hand in hand with retro cars. You in sales at fiat? i bought my first car from mandale, black punto active sport and got some 17" tech mags fitted by them so it looked sweet for me picking it up lol

i went out in a charged one the other week mate and it made me feel sick, proper sold me, it was a phaze 1 with a phaze 2 dash and the trophy recaro leathers, other than that looked standard but boy did it boogie! cheap power that, i cant think of much for £7k say that will keep up with them like

Nice one we sold quite a few punto actives but not too many rolling on 17"s . I was a go between guy in the middle of sales and service so if you bought your punto between 2001 and 04 chances are I got your car kitted out lol its a small world but I wouldnt run the hoover round it :D Might get the chance to look you up as I do get back up north now and again to visit friends

Nice, be a right missile.

Hopefully dude, deciding which profile cams to go with, i want it to be drivable day to day but i do like a lumpy cam sound on tick over lol

They where 8 inch wide and 18 inch diameter with 225/40/18s mate, i thought the tyres where a little big to be honest was gonna go for a little stretch on my next set

Heres a couple of sneaky pics of the new one, dont think il be able to start a build thread on it?

Its already got

K&N Intake
Scorpion de-cat
Remap
Koni Sport Adjustable shocks with eibach springs
16" Team dynamics pro sport 1.2s with toyo t1r's
Cup rear spoiler

It an o4 run out model so basically a 182 without the rear bumper and twin tails so has cruise control etc, 67k on the clock
