Glad your happy mate.
Well you are what this thread needs you have compared revo to apr on the same car on the same day.
I know you don't have any rolling road figures or logs but at least you have driven both.

Yeah it is good to have tried both and the difference for me is miles apart being able to change between maps is easy and practical, say you put your car in for service and don't want it ragged put it in stock map and hey they can't abuse the car as much as if it had the map plus when you just want a bit of decent normal driving the 95 Ron fuel map is right for that.

I'll prob get called a fanboy or whatever but hey all I an saying is its a decent map that well in my eyes it will rival revo.

Plus they are great and will show you round the workshop meet all the staff and take you out in there own cars etc and the advice is clear and easy to understand etc

I'll update the thread with my before and after Rollin road maps

Pretty sure it was the itg kit except branded thereselves?

They had a shipment come in when I was there.

think guys are getting mixed up with what intake is what

It doesnt have an APR intake, it has the VWR intake which uses an enclosed ITG filter feeding straight into the slam panel as apose to ITGs open filter behind the front headlamp.

Popped down to APR today (just round the corner)

Mainly because im about to purchase a MK2 LCR, Took us for a spin in the APR Golf R

It was raining very heavily, Roads where starting to flood, The car had its Haldex controller set to Road use rather than race aswell, We went for a spirited drive, Felt quick, I was impressed how the car launched off roundabouts onto the straights, i drive these roads everyday and i know my car would of spinned its wheels easily.

Yeh alot of it is spares for the race cars!

They have had some unusual cars down there in the past, Jason Plato's 2008 BTCC TDI car was there for a while, since been moved to another storage place

Again?

i didnt know him when i bought my FR TDI! so wouldnt say i copied him tbh plus i bought mine before he had his, i bought the FR TDI with the DPF Delete planned before i bought it, Its just that both of our paths have brought us to the same place.

and i was searching for used LCR's for him when i discovered the one im pursuing now, Simply because neither me or him are prepared to throw anymore money at the smokers, i test drove a LCR back in November 2010
