Funny, I was about to ask if the name of the colour was ever decided.

One question though, which dealer did you purchase from. They seem to have done everything possible to please you.

It's L.C. Charles in Crewe, and yes they have been spot on with trying to resolve our issues, even with a fussy bugger like me...

The only worry we had was getting the sales manager to return my calls once we'd let him know we wanted the exchange, as the original 30 days had expired...but he came through in the end...

I too have a 2.0 TDi Stylance DSG with sports pack in Emocion Red.

I also bought mine from there about thirteen months ago but unlike you didn't get the aftersales attention that you have received. I had some minor issues with mine but it was a bugger to get them sorted. I suspected it was LC Charles from your location, shame we don't have a nearer dealer.

Maybe we've just been lucky with who we've dealt with but have no complaints with their customer service so far...I think dealing with the sales manager has helped in that respect...

BTW...have you heard that there is a new Seat dealership opening in Liverpool soon...saw the signs while driving past a currently empty ex-Audi showroom...the Seat UK site also confirms this when I put in our postcode for nearest dealer....result...

This is a bonus for me (1 mile from work..) and gives you an alternative dealer to use if you fancy a trip up the Wirral...

Well its finally done...

Got a shiny (nearly) new black FR TFSI DSG sitting outside the house looking sssweeeeeettttt...

Had a fun drive back from Crewe, despite some rush-hour traffic, and lovin' the TFSI engine with DSG...

After topping up with V-Power we even averaged 32/33 mpg according to the MFD. That was approx 75% 'A' roads and 25% motorway, with a few hold-ups...and giving it some when we could...so happy with that for now...

We had the Seat armrest fitted by the dealers and have to agree with comments in some other threads that it's an essential purchase, helping you sit straighter without having to drop your left elbow slightly to rest on the console. They should make this standard kit IMO...

Anyway, time to put the car in the garage...via a nice twisty road a few miles away...

I hear what you're saying, and yes I do intend to just enjoy the car now and leave any minor issues to be sorted when the 1st service is due... ...which we will probably get done by Seat Liverpool as its going to be so handy for us...
