Anyone traded in their LCR recently?

Just been idly thinking about swapping the LCR for something else ( first non-seat in about 13-14 years  as Seat haven't done anything that grabs me for a while ) and was just wondering if anyone had traded in an LCR recently, preferably something '03 with about 70k on the clock?

I've only ever had bad experiences of private sales and TBH it's less hassle just to trade in. I've looked around at private sale prices but I've never found online pricing guides accurate.

Anyone help with a rough ballpark?

part ex? You'll cry mate. Depends what you're part exing against of course, they might have margin to play with.

I went to 3 dealers (Audi, BMW & Subaru) and the trade in figures I got ranged from £6000 - £6500. Mine is 55 plate, 33k miles, fssh, 2 owners.

Now I think those are terrible prices and I've been trying to sell mine for £7500 private and not had much interest for the past month so decided to keep her instead.

7.5k on a 55 plate omg...... think you will just get a sale around 5.5k..... as for a 03 plate part ex think they will offer in the region of around 2750-3250 dependant on how much you spend..... sell private for 4k

So your saying for an extra 1.5k is what a 55 plate with 33k miles is worth compared to a 03 plate with 70k miles?

I've seen 55 plates with around 60 - 70k miles sell for 6.5 - 7k

I just traded my LCR in for a 1 year old Cupra at a SEAT dealer. The LCR is 54 plate with 82k miles on the clock and a FSH. Bodywork OK for the age but the wheels a bit scuffed. The dealer started at £3250 but, after walking away twice, they eventually gave me £3800 against a £16k car.

Can't say I was amazed with that price but mine needed a set of dampers, wheel bearing and a CV joint so it was the easiest option.
