Had it fiited to my FR whaen I got it. Very good. very discreet. The "live" traffic movements really get you around traffic jams. Sometimes the routes can seem a littel strange if you know the way. Fixed camera warning very good too.

Isnt this the one where you press the button and its phones someone who then puts your route in for you? If it is i had a comapny car with this for a week and i wasnt that impressed as i didnt really like haveing to speak to someone to sort out my own route

It doesn't come fitted from the factory... either your dealer will fit it or it'll be contracted out to an approved company for fitting.

I picked my LCR up almost a month ago, still not got it fitted :( Apparently it's on back order...

is it expensive though? I was going to get it fitted to my LC as I wanted something smart (no pun intended) and built into the dash rather than something a ch*v would break-in and nick......
From the website it looks like its gonna cost £120+ a year to keep running tho??

thats correct 10 pound a month. Do u like using it and comes with tracker which is helpful. Orca how did u get your fixed camera warnings to work. doo u have to pay more than 10 pound a month. Also one other q, when u paid ur subscription can u use it as often as u want. Probably going to sell it soon though as i have an avic pioneer x1r sat nav on order which also uses traffic master

Thanks for the info guys, ive just phoned the stealer and told em not to bother fitting it doesnt sound like the kinda thing id use and the subscription thing is an added cost I could do without really

I'm not really fussed about having mine fitted either to be honest. I very rarely go on long journeys so wouldn't use it much, if at all.

Are you just not having it fitted or are you having something else instead, like the cash... they reckon it's a grands worth of kit... just wondering - if the option's there to take the cash instead I'll do that!

they sell on ebay for just on £200 if you are lucky - or direct from trafficmaster for £499-699.
+ fitting of course.

cholangio carcenoma doh !
Stealer just said theyd not bother fitting it as it was a "complimentary extra" from Seat ? having seen how much they are do you think I should be asking for some money off the price of the car or get them to throw in something else to its value ?

i would ask for something else then, or indeed money off.
If they dont like it ask for the smart nav equipment but ask them not to install it - just leave it boxed. Then flog it on ebay for a couple of hundred.

Camera bit is extra on top of subs. You can have nav system on "pay as you go" Think it works out about 87p/go. i really like having someone to talk to (lonely am I) they will also deal with your breakdowns and stuff like that and i think the traffic jam re route is the mutts. I paid for my own set up (but got a very good deal from the installers as they help my charity out a lot.
