Im 19 with a 1.9TDi FR

I was paying just under 700 quid FC on my 3cyl 1.0 Corsa, and they added 330quid onto that for the remainder of my policy (ends in Sept and I got car in Jan) so just over a grand FC over the year for my ibiza. £109 a month IIRC.

I have 1yr NCB and no points etc.

19, but was 18 when I bought it!

The 1.9TDi Sport is a group 7

Whilst the 1.9TDi FR is 8....

Go figure?!

Nope, Im with churchill - they wont allow after market wheels until Im 25.

Fair enough the wheels MAY appeal more to thieves, but then again wouldnt that be the same for say a 40 year old??

Its all groovy, good job I dont mind the standard wheels eh?

Aye, im keeping my standard wheels anyway! Might just blacken them, and then go EURO lowness!?!

Figure this one out, my insurance company wanted £1100 to renew my insurance.

If I whent onto their site, and put in all the details it came out at £750...

I rang them and asked if they could just go with that one, and they said no! So I ended up cancelling my insurance and getting it out with the same company?! weird!

Did a quick quote the other day for my motor....

2003 Ibiza sport 130
(told them it was mapped as i plan to do that)
wheels,
brakes,
coilovers,
kit,
FMIC,
DV,
exhaust,
filter,
tints
and ICE

£435 F/C protected

Not bad for Northern Ireland. Was quoted £1100 for an Evo 8, £900 for a 2005 WRX Sti type UK

Where did you get your quote from Andy? How many years NCB have you? Who would be the most sympathetic insurers towards mods in NI? Mine is up at the end of March so I'd better start pricing around..............
