just cut the pipe and then use that to join it together....i put a bit of glue round the join just to make sure of a good seal

Fo you still feed out of the "t" bit or is it now straight through so to speak? i.e. does it feed out at a right angle or go straight through, where'd you normally just have it plumbed into a vac line?

I have a t-piece and want to come off the brake servo line but was just going to put some sealant/glue in one of the inlets

Hey all

I read through these posts and i have the same issue but i am running my boost guage directly off my EGR replacement pipe (Inlet Manifold) what can i do to stop my guage rattling.

A quick response would be awsome as its driving me mental

Thanks

Mat

from awesome gti mate, cant find the exact link but it should be on here somewhere :)

is it just a normall t piece that comes with the guage?

Also i did say im using EGR replacement pipe so i have no way of joinning a t piece as only one hose. i would have to cut it then i am still one hose short how do i block the other end?

yeah its still one hose when you come off the brake vacuum line too, but i think people just bung up the unused piece with a bit of pipe and a nail or something

this t piece has something in it which helps restrict it to prevent the buzzing, never used mine though as i changed the guage for one that was the same colour as my dash lights :)
