Evening everyone,

Had my Leon TDI about 4 weeks now and absolutely love it to bits. My only fault is that the passenger seat beltv rattles like mad when left in its usual position, everytime someone gets out I have to lean over and make sure the seatbelt is pulled slightly over the seat to stop the rattle. Does anyone else had the same problem?? Just interested! Still love the car loads!!!!!

Not noticed that, but if I drive with the front and back windows open with no one in the passenger seat the seatbelt slams against the plastic inside the B-pillar repeatedly until I close the window.
Not exactly the worst thing in the world but still annoying!

The passenger seatbelt is hight adjustable, heighten the adjuster so it takes up the slack.

I had the same, but as already mentioned set the height adjuster to the top, which in turn moves the strap away from the side trim slightly and stops the rattle.

Same problem same remedy, just a pain leaning over to move the belt. Thought about sticking a rubber patch on the B pillar but thought it would look naff so haven't bothered.

Get the stealer to put a washer under the upper seatbelt fixing bolt to space it away from the door trim.

First thing I notice on the way home from picking my FR up yesterday :(

Thought it was a bit rubbish as my LCR I traded in didn't have any annoying noises like this

I solved this problem within a first week of ownership - I just bought a self-sticking bits of soft textile and stick on inner side of b-pillars. Since I'm not an native english speaker, i'll photo that soft self-applicable rectangular pieces placed in my Leon, if you wish (to explain how I manage it...)
