Hi All
Apologies if this is a repeat thread, I have searched but not turned any results.
The engine management light has popped up on our 2005 1.6 Altea Reference
I've had it read with a Snap-on Ethos which returned:-
14617. Linear O2 Sensor Bank 1 Sensor1 pump current wire open circuit P3161 Not a plausible signal intermittent.
I know this is the Lambda sensor but would this be pre cat or after cat?
Also they easy enough to get at and change?
The reading also returned:-
17698 Coolant temp sensor at radiator outlet (G83) signal too small P1290 short with power intermittent...
Think this is a long occurring fault as ever since we've owned the car, as the ignition /car is started fans start straight up... But engine management light has Only just come on so not related I believe..
Any help and advice is great fully received!
Many Thanks
