your mate got mugged, im sorry it is a lovely put together kit but its just a JR cone filter, stainless heat shield with some beeding on it too remove the sharp edge and a s/s adaptor to allow fitment of a breather filter to the secondary air pump hose, damn thats alot of cash for what it is!

The work thats gone into the kit must of been a lot! it only took like 20minutes to fit, and it DOES fit, no drilling no nothing! its awesome and i would say to people its worth the money!

I've just fitted this one on my mate Leon Its awesome and fits fookin brill 8)

Sorry to stae the obvious but that kit is not for the Curpa R.

I know BUT the LCR kit is the same just bigger intake
