air filter breather???

hey peeps first post here!

my lady has an x reg 1.8 turbo
shes on her hols in menorca at the mo so im gonna stick a filter on the old beast

only question i have is ....

the filter housing has a breather pipe around inch diameter going into the front of the housing

if i fit a filter where do i stick the breather?

it has a stupid bloody connector on the end so can i fit a breather filter to it or is that not recomened?

any pics on here from anyone elses filters?

some filters have point to join breather pipe on, pipercross open filter does, not sure about others, if not just cut it back to point at front of engine and put breather filter on the end of it, looks neat.
probably what most people have done.

air filter housing is bolted in, crazy spanish people!

why cant all be just pull out push in?!!! lol

You can get one from Motorists Centre for about £10 - Tis what we have (or had ) on both Ibiza's...
