Yes I think thats the job, not thought about retro fit blades...I'm using them, half the price, and are as good as the route you're thinking of going...IMO.

I had the conversion kit they were good but the yellow indicators do bug you after six months or so!!! they fitted well on the screen a little hang off the passenger side not worth cutting or modifying. I then upgraded to the mk 4 golf arms and wipers and now ide say the conversion kit was just as good as them and well worth the 27 quid rather than 90 quid for the arm and wiper upgrade.

Went to a Stealer today & it had the VAG aero wipers - for RHDs - in a display box next to the reception desk.

However, I recently bought the Valeo aero wipers from WiperBlades.co.uk (v prompt service/deliv). Yes, the Valeos look good; they fit the standard Leon arms & take 5min to fit; & they clean the screen very well.:) But they squeal like crazy, even during a monsoon! [:@]

i bought the vw blades and they look exactly the same as those bosch i bought for gf bmw mini - as such i'd see if bosch from halfords is cheaper and if so get from there
the arms help with looks

in fact the vw ones have bosch written all over them...

I nipped into GSF and grabbed the bosch retro fits for mine. According to the GSF computer theyre for the Mk4 Golf and don't fit the LC but they do. Less than £23 too :D

They just go a bit weird on the passenger side when they're not in use as they don't fit the curve of the screen perfectly, but when they wipe they're fine. You basically just have a little bit on the end that doesn't sit on the screen. Could probably get over the problem by adjusting the angle of the arm, as Pabs says in his guide, or by lopping 10mm off the end.

Wiping wise, they're awesome, no squeaking and shift all the water, even in a monsoon.

That's why they don't fit, as they are to wide for the Leons screen.

You will need a 21" and 18".
I have the full mk4 golf conversion, and you need to trim about 1" off the outer end off the pass side blade.
TBH I wouldnt pay the £90 for the full set, but got mine off a breaker.

Bought 1J2 998 002 for my 03 Leon, look sweet.

Found a good parts dealer in NW7, price was £24 in total. Got a splitter spoiler too, and ordered an audi S3 strut brace which should hopefully be ready for collection tomorrow.
