hi all,

might sound like a really dumb question but i have an 08 ibiza fr, and the aeriel can be tilted up or lying flat, but when you unscrew it, to fit the stubby aeriel it doesn't come off, any ideas how to solve this?

thanks!!

It is an anti theft device. Unscrew it fully. Then just hold the mount with one hand and pull HARD with the other hand on the aeriel. It may seem like your going to break something but it will come out

Are there any Aeriels available for a 2004 Ibza that are 1 to 1 swaps, no changes etc ?

grip the bottom of the ariel base with your left hand firmley making a circular grip around it, with your right hand unscrew the ariel fully, lye it down towards you and then yank as hard as you can..:p

Yeah the aerial can be a little hard to get off.
I went on Ebay and got a universal Stubby aerial. Comes with lots of adapters to fit many cars:)

I must say though the radio isn't as good now. So it's CD's, or plug my iPhone in.
