so the noise will be very minimal?

the recirc ones are a better design that standard really thats all..

the atmosphere dump ones are for "big headed people" rather than "performance people" ?

to clarify,

all turbo cars will have a DV (diverter valve or dump valve) as standard. or perhaps anther system that does the same.
most are designed so you can t hear then, and also at stock boost levels on lower power cars they would be difficult to hear.

if you have a dv that can run the other way around, this does not mean the air goes the other way. the air will travel in the same direction as originally, but will exit the dv from what was originally the inlet.
Some turn them around as it may sound different. perhaps some thing it is louder as it doesnt work as efficiently allowing the boost to build up slightly more before it operates. which isnt a good thing really.

ah right ok..

If I get the cupra it will only be remap'd so i wouldnt hear much (but will be good to have one for reliability purposes)

Ive heard you wont hear much unless you have an open cone filter either..

the oher factor jason is that ist not advisable to run a atmos on vag engines as they tend to disagree with them and can often throw up errors

What are the hyperboost Recirc Dvs like?

theyre simple to fit arent they, no different to changing an air filter really in terms of difficulty.. am I right?

As im going to get a car next tuesday and I will be taking a dv with me that I may well fit before returning home on my 100mile journey.. advisable?

well something to remove the existing clips, i used a pair of pliers, and a screwdriver to fix the jubilee clips (that you will also need)

Will buying a forge 007 have any performance advantages over a standard bosch dump valve. I have an open air induction kit and an apr remap. Just want to know before spending unnesessary cash.

u need 2 need jubille clips for starters. but my opinion would be to wait till you get it home, then you can play with it as much as you want
