Abs, traction control and tyre pressure lights

My car recently went in for a full service and new tyres put on. Eagle f1's.

After a few days after I noticed my ABS, traction control and my tyre pressure light came on all at the same time. It stays on for a while and then sometimes goes away. Notice the longer drives it stays in permanently.

I've noticed on a few threads that this could be due to wheel bearing/ sensors but as it was recently serviced nothing was flagged up on the wheel bearing side.

I put it in a garage recently and again nothing was flagged up on the ecu to show if a code has been flagged up. Only that showed a code change was heated wing mirrors which is strange as I thought I didn't even have them.

Don't know if it's a intermittent electrical issue??

Any help would be ideal

Cheers

A fault code will be stored if the ABS light is on. More than likely a wheel sensor or a problem with the ABS ring. A garage with the right diagnostic kit would be a good start, or buy your own (VCDS)

Yeah I went to the garage and the put it through the diagnostics check and said nothing on any fault codes.

I'll look into buying one of the self diagnostics check.

Thanks mate.

There is an electrical connection at the sump which u have to disconnect in order to remove sound deadining to drain oil from car (well I had to)try checking it incase it's not fully connected it might not have anything to do with your issue but on saying that electrics are interlinked etc

You should look at the Carista app and a Bluetooth or WiFi (if using an iphone) adaptor. £15 for the app and maybe £5-10 for obd2 adaptor.

This can scan for obd2 codes and specific VAG codes. This will be a specific code.

It is likely to be busted ABS wheel speed sensor that is caused by a rusted wheel hub. Need to replace the hub and sensor to fix the issue.
