Anyone else used these on the road? I've got them fitted on my std rims with the intention of using them for track days, but just can't resist trying them out on the road! I know the conditions aren't right but also want to see how they are in everyday conditions..... It's not so cold down here in the Southwest! I will be interested to see how long they take to warm up and also how they grip under acceleration, not going to push the cornering as that can come in April at Castle Combe! (Any takers by the way, it's a good day out)

Buzzing them on first thing then going for a 10 mile drive, don't know about the weather, hope it's dry then I can compare traction, gotta be careful if it wet cos they don't get rid of water very well (no circumferencial grooves) and they probably won't warm up either, hey ho! Watch this space........

i herd their actually pretty good in the wet, alot better than perfomance tyres anyway, its just standing water they struggle with.

Im going to keep them on for a couple of weeks to get a good idea in varied conditions and also the dyno I went on last week the guy says I need stickier rubber to get traction on the rollers, going to get up there again next Saturday hopefully.......

Just been out in the damp, tyres grip real well, seem to be grippier even in damp, no wheelspin in 3rd gear any more, maybe in the dry it'll stop spin in 2nd gear as well?

My r1rs will take full power in first with esp off with no wheelspin in current conditions.

People say that these track day tyres are better than normal oem tyres in the wet, however what alot of them dont tell you is that they are dogs in the cold and wet. If you cant generate even a tiny bit of heat in them they will be worse than oem summer tyres.

Roll on april though mate and these toyos will be worlds apart from what we have used before.

Full power in first, the acceleration must be awesome! Even in the summer I can only give full throttle in 3rd gear and it still spins then.... Can't wait to see what it's like when it's warmer/drier!

when it just took all the power I have to say it felt really good, im used to the car pinning me into the back of my seat, but first and second really does pin you back hard.
