In all honesty, I'd say not really.

I bought my setup for £87 from eBay. It's done 16k, so probably needs new pads, but then that brings it up to £130.

They look like the S3 ones I just fitted to my Ibiza. £235 sounds a bit steep, mind you I expect a fair chunk is for postage (a set of discs, calipers, carriers and pads is very heavy...).

apparently audi TT 225 - maybe same?

iYHO - would they fit?

they're new (delivery miles) - Jon got set and they look good.

i was under the illusion as long as u have fs111 calipers all u need is the carriers for 312mm discs, the discs themselves and pads to suit ur caliper, because the ibiza does not use FS111 calipers u have to change this,

on the 100PD models the caliper and carrier are one piece so in this instance u also need calipers and carriers

my 2 pence

yes according to etka. theres the problem tho, if thats the case ur gonna need a set of 130PD hubs plus calipers from a 100PD and pads to suit a 100PD, 312mm discs say a leon cupra 180

calipers to suit either a 312mm car (u might have wheel clearance issues) or a 256 SEAT (no probs)
carriers to suit a 312mm car
312mm discs
pads to suit the caliper u r using

now i'm totally lost !!

WTF do i need for the 130PD sport with 288mm brakes as std?

 :(

As per my post Carriers/Calipers/Discs/Pads from either Audi S3/Leon Cupra and you should be safe but as said nobody can be 100% sure as I wasn't when I originally got mine !!

Bye the way S3 calipers are usually identified by being sprayed black as standard.

Judging by my experience certainly a better bet than the leon cupra ones, which are the ones I have which catch without spacers yes

when jon returns from hols in San Francisco i'll try one of my wheels on his Fabia
with the above mentioned Audi TT 312mm set-up.

If ok - should be no bother

Right or wrong? (wheels are different off set - so this will prove idea?)

:hide:

My brakes just arrived, and the pads have loads of meat left on them! :D

A total bargain, I just wish I had the stuff to fit them.

Well...the S3 calipers you sold me were certainly black - with crud & brake dust :p
They weren't painted though ??? Maybe only certain years got the black paint. Just to add to the confusion :)
