Thursday but this is the first time I've been able to stop crying long enough to post it, lol.
It's not too bad actually Ant. I'm going to post in my RR thread so as not to hi-jack this one so if anyone wants to give me any sympathy or maybe just to laugh at my driving and call me a ****** the link is below.
So this wavetrac willie sounds more like how a traditional limited slip diff would work, albeit more technical, rarther than torque biasing, sounds good in the description, my only concern is how it "locks" up and transfers power to other wheel, would it be smooth or harsh, pulling car from side to side?.
as lee says, the cable used to locate on the pin to the left (in the pic) of where it is now. I drew a line between the pin and the pivot point; then drilled a hole 40% of the distance along this line from the original location to reduce the shifter throw by 40%. I then threaded this hole, inserted the bolt, then a nut the other side, cable on and then another locking nut
With more time it could be made to be adjustable; simply drill out the old pin and create a slot instead of the hole I drilled. You could then slide the bolt and lock nut to the desired throw length and tighten to hold in place.
