2008 1.9TDi misfire when warm

I am having trouble with my leon 1.9TDi. Runs fine until it gets up to temperature then there is a misfire if you boot it hard between the 2500-3000RPM range then it smooths out. I have fitted a new EGR valve and it has made no difference. I have put a turbo cleaner through it but have not taken it off for a thorough fettle. It has covered around 120k if that helps. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks:

Are you sure it's not just slowdown shudder?

There's a couple of things you can consider based on what I've seen in the family garage.
Injector problems, or a compression issue, vagcom should show this/rule it out.

The crank case sensor, could be faulty or simply need removed and cleaned and re mounted correctly again.

Personally I think it might be, throttle related, à faulty throttle sensor can cause momentary low voltage signals to the ecu, confusing it. A could way to rule this out/prove it is see if you can reliably replicate the issue, then try replicate it while on cruise control, so the throttle pedal isn't controlling the signal.

The egr is operated by a vacum line in the fl 1.9tdi isn't it? If so check it isn't leaking anywhere and the ehr is defiantly closing and shutting properly.

I would try the cruise control test first, if no luck best think to do is to make a vagcom request and get some logging done, then post the results here and I'm sure one of the talented members here will steering you closer to the answer

Thanks for the reply
I filled it up last night with a 'performance diesel' and an injector cleaner and have taken it a blast out for about 170 miles today.
It is definately not shudder on slowdown, it does seem to shudder or misfire when accelerating hard but only when up to normal temperature. It does not do it at all when cold and it was noticeably better today with more power and smoother delivery of the power although it was still there at times but to a lesser degree and is the same on cruise control.
It does not do it at all if I accelerate slowly so I am thinking it may be the turbo vanes sticking once hot when things start to expand and it is given sudden demand!
Does that sound credible or likely?
Thanks
