Yeah it is kinda frustrating, it's almost like they're keeping it hidden, I got a good price I think, and perhaps they make more net profit on the other models? From the vote it seems like the least purchased car, but it reads as a decent car to me and a lot of options with a decent engine and it just looks great

I got a really good price before they started going through the roof! But definitely seems like a great car for what it is with a lot of spec standard. I’m coming from a 2011 Cooper S so it’s more than enough for me. Looks like you will one of the first in the UK! Definitely put upload some pictures/your initial impression of the engine, that would be great

I didn't know they boosted the prices, probably as demand for this car has been high but even more so due to the microchip shortage demand outweighs supply.... mine is at the docks, waiting for a delivery date to the dealer. Yes absolutely will post photos 👍

Mine is arriving in the next week or so, likewise through hours of fruitless google searches there are only 3 pages on this model, Cupra, Whatcar and Parkers, other than it's lease companies gleening hits with photos that aren't even of this model

I've tested the latest 245 2.0 in the Golf (DSG) / Octavia (Manual) and it's a punchy engine especially in third, it'll never pin you back in your seat or cause a commotion but on the other hand it never felt underpowered either. I'd say the 245 is probably the perfect blend of fun, economy and useable power..

That's exactly why I went for the 245 2.0 seems to be a perfect all-rounder (y)

That looks, great mate! What colour have you gone for?
Thanks mate, went for the dark camo, as my last car was black, and the red is lush but thin it will draw too much attention. It looks lovely but the light really didn't do it justice. Any updates on yours?

Dark Camo is a really nice colour in real life and pictures don't do it any justice as the green hue doesn't photograph brilliantly. I went for Magnetic Grey as I like the blue hue it has to it in certain light conditions. I haven't spoken to Cupra since early this week, might give them a message next week. I'm not in any rush and seeing the number of people whose cars are being built but are waiting for parts doesn't fill me with hope! What's your initial impression of the engine? I know it's early days yet :)
